Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: NOC Engineer (0–8 Years Experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure, cloud resources, and applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, responding to incidents, and maintaining service uptime in a 24×7 operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, servers, cloud infrastructure, and applications using Cisco Meraki, Azure Insights (Azure Monitor), Dynatrace, New Relic, Cribl, and PRTG.
• Investigate and resolve network, system, and application alerts.
• Create, update, and track incident tickets using BMC Helix.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams as required.
• Monitor dashboards, logs, and alerts to ensure optimal system performance.
• Perform basic network diagnostics and connectivity checks.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and shift handovers.
• Support scheduled maintenance activities and verify service restoration.
• Adhere to SLA and ITIL-based incident management processes.
• Work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, routing, and switching.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools:
  • Cisco Meraki, Azure Insights (Azure Monitor), Dynatrace, New Relic, Cribl, PRTG
• Experience or knowledge of BMC Helix ticketing system.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in NOC, Network Support, IT Infrastructure Support, or a related role.
• Freshers with relevant internships, certifications, or hands-on lab experience are encouraged to apply.
• Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, ITIL Foundation, or AZ-900 are an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
