Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark
• Process large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Work on data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Work with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP (if applicable)
• Ensure data quality and integrity across pipelines

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in PySpark & Apache Spark
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Good knowledge of SQL and data processing concepts
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data pipelines
• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with version control tools (Git)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of Databricks
• Familiarity with Airflow or other scheduling tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills:

• Good communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a team environment
