Job Title: Support Engineer – .NET Applications

Work Model: 5 Days a Week | Rotational Shifts (one week a month night shift)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Support Engineer with 8–10 years of experience supporting .NET-based applications in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong debugging skills, solid MSSQL knowledge, and hands-on experience with incident management and root cause analysis (RCA).

This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working close to production systems, and is eager to grow into a development role over time. You will also get exposure to AI-driven support and automation platforms, helping shape the future of intelligent support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET applications
• Monitor applications, identify issues, and ensure high system availability
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
• Debug application issues using logs, code-level analysis, and database queries
• Work extensively with MS SQL Server (queries, performance analysis, data validation)
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Participate in rotational shifts and on-call support as required
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Contribute ideas toward automation and AI-based support tooling

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience supporting .NET / C# applications
• Strong understanding of MS SQL Server (joins, stored procedures, performance tuning basics)
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with incident management, RCA, and production issue resolution
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
• Good understanding of application logs, monitoring, and alerting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (5 days a week)

Good to Have

• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure / AWS)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with monitoring tools (App Insights, Splunk, ELK, etc.)
• Interest in AI/ML-driven automation or intelligent support platforms
• Some hands-on coding or bug-fixing experience in .NET projects
