Job Title: Golang Developer with Kubernetes Expertise

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled software engineer proficient in Golang programming and Kubernetes container orchestration to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Golang.

Design and implement Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and operators for application deployment and management.

Manage containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, networking, and security configurations.

Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, including CPU and memory profiling of Golang applications running in Kubernetes pods.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines for Golang applications on Kubernetes.

Monitor and analyze Kubernetes cluster health and application metrics.

Implement best practices for secure and efficient Kubernetes workloads.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong proficiency in Golang programming language and its runtime profiling tools.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes architecture, including pods, services, ingress, namespaces, and networking.

Familiarity with container networking concepts such as CNI plugins, overlay networks (VXLAN, GENEVE), and service mesh.

Experience with Kubernetes resource management, including CPU and memory requests and limits.

Knowledge of Kubernetes monitoring and troubleshooting techniques, including use of tools like Prometheus and pprof for profiling.

Understanding of TLS and security configurations in Kubernetes environments.

Experience with Helm, kubectl, and Kubernetes API.

Familiarity with cloud-native observability tools and distributed tracing.

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.

Knowledge of container orchestration security best practices.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code.

Experience with Kubernetes operators and custom resource definitions (CRDs).
