Test Engineer

We are seeking a experienced Network QA Automation engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of cutting-edge networking features in routers, switches, firewalls, and SDN/NFV environments. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale, accelerate testing cycles, and ensure network resilience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Should be able to understand the requirement and derive testcases from the functional spec.
• Automation the testcase end to end.
• Integrate automated scripts  with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on automation best practices and scripting (Python preferred).
• Create detailed test plans, strategies, and quality metrics to support complex networking features and releases.
• Should be scalable enough to work across different project , interact with different stakeholder and own the system

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols, architecture, and troubleshooting. (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, VLAN, STP, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Pyats ..).
• Experience in tools like Ansible, Docker, and virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, GNS3, EVE-NG).
• Proven experience in testbed design, lab setups, and traffic simulation.
• Familiarity with network OS platforms (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS, ).
• Expertise with packet capture and protocol analyzers.
• Exposure to REST APIs, gRPC, NETCONF/YANG-based automation.
• Experience in integrating automation with CI/CD systems.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or similar.
• Experience with SDN, NFV, or cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets).
• Experience testing high-availability, load-balancing, and failover scenarios.
