Software Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

Software Developer will possess knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI, T-SQL and some data modelling experience. This role will provide outstanding analytical and problem solving expertise with a good grasp of technical side of Business Intelligence.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining data integrity and security, managing users, privileges, roles, profiles and database resources

• Involved in Logical & Physical design of the Database, Creation of tables, views, procedures, packages,

triggers and other database objects.

• Generating scripts of database objects, writing and debug complex queries

• Good Exposure in SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and SQL, XML Queries

• Creation of reports and dashboards using PowerBI

• Performance Monitoring and tuning of Database and SQL Queries

• Back-up and recovery procedures

• Product development knowledge, having familiarity with issues related to database design, schema changes.

• Involved in Scheduling jobs & Monitoring.

• Experience with data migrations and data quality techniques, integration, and design methodologies

Added advantage

• Builds strong relationships within the teams, stakeholders, and other teams to achieve objectives on delivery time.

• Knowledge of Linked servers, CDC, Service Broker, Resource Governor, Replication, High Availability

• Experience with tuning database and server for proper memory sizing, I/O distribution, physical space usage, load balancing, and system resource allocation.

• Knowledge of Python

• Possess good communication skills.

• Good understanding of the DevOps process

• Hands on Experience on DevOps Tools

• Good Understanding of CI, CD

• 1-3 years of SQL Server experience in Product Based IT/Software organization
